As the Sr Creative Director Digital Narrative Global Brand Creative, you will extend the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike brand across the digital landscape. You will connect personally with consumers through stories around athletes, products and services that inspire. You are familiar with working in close partnership with writers, designers, and producers, with an ability to both understand and participate in strategic conversations. You must be able to lead others through the creative process.

As a Sr. Creative Director Digital Narrative, you will drive creative concepts and big ideas in partnership with your team and will be responsible for creative excellence in every part of the storytelling journey: creative concepts, executions, writing, aligning partners, etc. You will oversee copywriters in their delivery of outstanding writing, with results that include headlines and body copy for digital channels and other consumer-facing creative work. You will collaborate with internal partners to help craft brand and seasonal content strategy and product positioning. You will supervise project work for the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy to ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively outstanding, and delivered on time. Finally, as a key member of the creative team, you will encourage and motivate your teammates around you, working in a hands-on and highly collaborative manner.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Drive complex workstreams independently and direct others to develop a well-crafted narrative. Work to lead and deliver end-to-end creative concepts across Product Launches, Brand Stories and Consumer Events working from strategy through concept and finishing with premium executions at all levels across all channels.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, playing a pivotal role in implementing creative storytelling across all of our channels, always thinking about the consumer journey and next click. Partner with the team around you to translate briefs and marketing plans into emotive and innovative stories. You will lead workstreams independently developing and crafting creative concepts for both product launches and campaigns across the globe.

Multitasking different projects will require you to carefully plan and manage your schedule effectively. Working closely with the senior creatives, you’ll play a part in crafting the future voice and storyline of the brand across our digital consumer touchpoints.

You will proactively learn new skills and stay abreast of technical and digital channel excellence and successfully apply these to work practices. You’ll share this knowledge with the wider design community and work with them to ensure continuity across our initiatives and projects.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will report to the VP Digital Global Brand Creative, but day-to-day you’ll work alongside Brand Narrative Managers and Narrative Writers, designers, producers, and communication professionals, partnering closely with Brand Creative senior leaders. You will also work directly with internal and external creatives – commissioning various work across multiple fields. You’ll be required to collaborate with your counterparts across the Geo and Territory Studios to help establish and develop our creative network.

Within the broader Marketing organization, you will work closely with Digital Marketing and Digital Product to strategize and implement never been done before Nike only ideas, developing and delivering creativity that answers the brief.

Aside from the day-to-day, you may get the opportunity to mentor and lead others within your subject area, supporting their growth and development.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

A minimum of 10 years of creative experience in an editorial, content marketing, brand marketing, or related creative field.

A shown ability to lead and mentor other writers and creatives.

A deep understanding of digital channels, partners and innovation

Validated experience leading photography and video/film productions; from pre-production to on-set leadership and post-production.

Proven origination of innovative storytelling across multiple categories.

Experience in leading agencies and internal partners to deliver high-caliber work.

Great human and leadership skills that enable the team to grow. This includes a strong ability to listen and empower the team.

Good understanding of interactive communication, processes, and user interface design for online products.

Great understanding of consumer behavior. You have significant consumer knowledge throughout the globe.

Ability to travel as needed.
