Job Description SummaryThe Assistant Director, Marketing Analytics is a newly created position in the Marketing and Communications Group that will play an integral role in Bentley’s continued growth into a data-driven marketing organization.

The position will be responsible for supporting the entire group but especially the digital marketing and marketing program groups. The role is core to ensuring Bentley is achieving a high ROI on its marketing initiatives, is gathering actionable insights from the data, and is reporting its progress in a clear way. The person in this role should be able to not only collect and report on data but interpret and tell compelling data-driven narratives that are engaging, informative, and easy to understand to internal stakeholders.

The person in this role will also serve as a key liaison between the Marcomm team and other analytics groups at Bentley, including business intelligence and IT. The role will also provide support into the budgeting process, keeping track of department spending and helping to ensure the efficient use of budget and resources.

Essential DutiesCollaborate with the digital marketing and marketing program groups to develop KPIs and track them via dashboards.Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI to extract key marketing insights from HubSpot, Slate, Google Analytics and other sources and analyze them to improve marketing strategy and assess the ROI of various marketing programs including digital direct and brand awareness campaigns.Support the building of data integrations from various sources such as customer databases, online traffic, and point of sale systems.Serve as a key liaison with the Business Intelligence group, IT Data Engineering and Operations, Strategy & Innovation, and other groups to provide business input and to fully leverage the data and analytics capabilities available to Marcomm.Support the budgeting process by staying up to date with financial data in Workday and report to each department.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degreeMinimum of 3-5 years’ experienceExperience using R, Python, Stata (nice-to-have), Excel, and PowerBI/Tableau.Experience using GA4Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Marketo, or Slate.Ability to translate complex and technical findings into an easily understood narrative, including in graphical, verbal, or written forms
