Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role (M-TH in office, Fri Remote) for Head of Marketing at Daily Drills. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing new marketing campaigns, as well as evaluating and refining existing campaigns to ensure the continued growth of the DD brand. They will also be responsible for managing the marketing team, providing leadership, insight, and guidance to ensure cohesive and successful campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a creative and data-driven individual with a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.StrategyLead end-to-end development of impactful storytelling campaigns for new drops, incorporating A/B testing across digital (Web, App, Email, SMS, Ads, Social), placement, print, and guerilla marketing channels.Proactive approach to exploring innovative marketing strategies across various platforms including Instagram, Ad's, TikTok, etc.A/B testing is standard practice and is constantly driven to experiment with fresh ideas and emerging trends.Utilize sales and inventory data to inform ongoing product marketing strategies, optimizing campaign effectiveness during/between new product drops across digital, influencer/celeb/brand placement, and guerrilla platforms.Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with the brand's vision and objectives, fostering collaborations to enhance brand visibility and drive mutual growth.Partner with cross functional teams to delegate work on a weekly basis through campaign briefs.Marketing CalendarDevelop a comprehensive annual marketing calendar aligning with the company's key business objectives and product launch schedule.Break down the annual plan into monthly and weekly calendars to ensure consistent and timely execution of campaigns.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all departments are aligned on upcoming marketing activitiesPlan and schedule content for various marketing channels.Ensure content is aligned with campaign themes, product launches, and promotional activities.AdsDesign, strategize, and implement ads for each drop across Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, and Paid Search.Leading paid ad campaign setup, run tests, scale, learn, iterate and optimize is a plus but optional.Monitor spend and manage day-to-day performance of ad campaigns in order to come in on budget and hit ROI goalsEmail/SMSDevelop and execute targeted campaigns using email, SMS, push notifications, and other marketing channels to convert new customers and engage returning customers.Oversee customer acquisition and retention strategy i.e. referral and rewards programs/subscription-based incentives /ambassador programs/etcSend weekly email/sms performance reportsSite & AppStrategize community building efforts or customer cultivation within the app.Photoshoot OperationsInfluencer/CommunityInfluencer/celebrity gifting - oversee organizing/managing/updating the master influencer list and create strategic seeding plans around both seasonal/collection pushes and evergreen giftingPrint/Guerilla:Proactively lead the strategy and development of printed marketing materials, such as insert cards, flyers, posters, banners etc to support various marketing campaigns and initiatives.Explore guerrilla marketing tactics such as utilizing billboards, wheat pastings, wild postings, guerrilla projections,and other unconventional methods to creatively engage with target audiences and amplify brand visibility in high-traffic areas.Partnerships:Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with the brand's vision and objectives, fostering collaborations such as coffee shop collabs, pop-up collabs, and participation in gifting opportunities, to enhance brand visibility and drive mutual growth.QualificationsExperience in the Fashion Industry is a must.5+ years in Marketing, specifically fashion.Experience with a drop model D2C business is a plusExperience managing marketing campaigns and a team.Expertise in market research and analysis, and ability to apply its information to strategy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting campaign plans to executives.Familiarity with data analytics and marketing performance measurement programs.Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or related field, higher degrees desirable.Experience in Digital Marketing (social media and Ecommerce) is a must.
