Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to promote a large resort hotel. This role involves overseeing all marketing activities, including digital marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations, to drive brand awareness, increase bookings, and enhance the hotel's market position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality marketing and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:

Create comprehensive marketing plans that align with the hotel's business goals and objectives.

Identify target markets and devise strategies to attract them.

Digital Marketing:

Manage the hotel's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online travel agencies (OTAs).

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, email marketing).

Analyze digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better ROI.

Brand Management:

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.

Develop and maintain promotional materials and content in line with the hotel's brand standards.

Advertising and Promotions:

Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various media (print, online, radio, etc.).

Develop promotional packages and special offers to drive room bookings and hotel services.

Public Relations:

Foster relationships with media and influencers to gain positive coverage for the hotel.

Prepare press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.

Market Research:

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and enhance guest experiences.

Event Marketing:

Promote hotel events and conferences to increase attendance and revenue.

Collaborate with event planners to ensure successful execution and marketing of events.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Track and report on marketing expenditures and campaign performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., front desk, food and beverage) to ensure cohesive marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.

Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive marketing decisions.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
