Key Responsibilities include: as an expert in Adobe creative suite, this individual can visually communicate brand initiatives in an ownable way through appealing creative that can be digital, print, and/or packaging related. Can easily assess creative needs and provides graphic solutions that are on-brand and delivered in a timely manner. Can articulate the thought process on the why behind the design and provides their recommendations. Is flexible and can pivot as needed given multiple priorities. Welcomes constructive criticism and design critique, easily takes feedback and direction and is open to others ideas and suggestions. Is adaptable and can work quickly on-the-fly in meetings in real time. This position manages the Graphic Design Assistant.

SOFTWARE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Well versed in graphic design principlesExpert in Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects and/or PremierProDigital video creation and editing requiredTypography experience a plus but not requiredPhotography skills a plus but not requiredAbility to sketch and draw also a plus but not requiredPrevious printing experience is helpful but not requiredWorking knowledge of PC platform (this position uses PC and not Apple)Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, ExcelJOB DESCRIPTION

ON-GOING CREATIVE NEEDS (designs, creates, executes)

PRINTProduct packaging design for all components of packaging, includes concepts and exploratory design for new itemsNew item launch support such as sampler cardsPOS such as in-store displays, shelf talkers, sell sheets, signage, banners, in-store magazine or circulars, trade shows, experiential events, merchandisers like tea chests and racks, etcNational print adsBillboards and other outdoor signageSporting events like homeplate rotationsMerchandise like t-shirts, mugs, hats

DIGITAL

Renderings for any creative asset as needed for presentationsCreates content for Amazon and other e-commerce platforms (product and lifestyle visuals as well as video)Shopper marketing support for Retailer specific needs (campaign and other ad creative)Website design and mobile contentSocial media content (includes static images, animated gifs, and videos) and is knowledgeable of specs for each platformEmail creative supportVideo creation (includes editing, incorporating music, etc.)Photo editing is a necessary skill, can quickly and easily retouch images, resize per spec or channel requirement

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BA or BFA, Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred4-6 years working experience as a Graphic Designer with proven examplesPrevious experience working with a brand/within marketing
