Summary
The Product Design team at Cosm is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of B2B and B2C digital products, and you will lead the overall UX efforts for our team. We are looking for a designer who showcases great product thinking and sweats over the details. This high-impact role allows you to define and shape the user experience across all of Cosm’s digital products. Responsibilities
Lead Cosm UX efforts including research, IA, user flows, wireframes, prototyping, and testing.Effectively present and communicate UX decisions to stakeholders and clearly explain how your work enhances the overall product experience.Spearhead user experience and usability feedback sessions, distilling valuable insights into actionable design enhancements.Transform product requirements and user research into meticulously crafted designs that elevate product functionality and introduce innovative features.Foster close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance the Cosm digital product user experience constantly.Collaborate with our customer success team to develop and refine user personas, ensuring a deep understanding of our target audience.Utilize research findings to guide design decisions, enhance user empathy, and create a more personalized and effective user experience.Engage in and inspire honest and clear communication, promoting a culture of caring, empathy, and respect.Use your experience to help mentor and teach other designers on the team.
Experience
A bachelor’s degree or any combination of education, training, and experience in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.7+ years of experience as a product designer focusing on UX, preferably building 0 to 1 products.Ability to independently explore concepts from inception to completion while engaging in constructive feedback loops through the process.Thorough organization skills that allow you to articulate and showcase the why behind your work.Ability to provide critical feedback to help raise the quality of your team’s work.High-level proficiency in design software such as Figma as well as your preferred prototyping and user testing tools.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Portfolio that demonstrates evidence of building digital experiences within a fast-paced product organization.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $120,000 - $150,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
