A GREAT PLACE?* A flexible work environment* Generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc.* A knowledge-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners.* Professional development opportunity and mentorship* A rapidly growing center within an academic settingHERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DODevelop and implement marketing and PR for Rialto including Series, educational, and rentals; Manage overall communications and marketing strategy and provide media relations, marketing/advertising communications, social media and PR to support all Rialto's programs; Responsible for ensuring consistent message and image in all forums or media while optimizing Rialto's brand recognition both inside and outside of GSU.Develop and oversee Rialto's production of print media; Create materials, both print and digital, including ticket brochures, program books and any other print or electronic materials required; Work with vendors to ensure design/printing/mailing/distribution occurs in a timely matter.Conducts research and analyzes data to determine the success of initiatives; Research and establishes cross-promotional activities with other arts organizations; Regularly monitor website traffic data including ticket sales, clicks, and visitors via Google Analytics (GA4).Negotiate Rialto media partnerships and plan advertising buys including TV, radio, web/digital, social media, and print; Responsible for monitoring all communications expenditures; Work with the Director to develop sponsorship materials to present to potential Rialto sponsors.Identify, train, and supervise Graduate Research Assistant capable of assisting with general marketing, PR, and social media; Distribute marketing materials to area residents and businesses, including hotels and restaurants; Develop and promote partner packages to add value to the audience experience.Responsible for maintaining the Rialto.GSU.edu website; Served as webmaster working in WordPress; Oversee electronic media strategy, email blast communications, and content to promote the GSU/Rialto brand; Developed and implemented marketing campaigns.

Examples of DutiesWrites press releases.Coordinates staff and artist interviews on radio, television, and in print.Creates and maintains good relations with the press.Creates the Signature Series subscription brochure, the Art and Soul newsletter, all collateralmarketing and public relations brochures for the Series as well as the rental, programs booked forperformances and image pieces.Creates advertisement schedules and concepts for all advertising at the Center, such as print, radio,television, and coordinates and/or creates those advertisements.Coordinates strategizes, and supervises the creation of archival videos for the Rialto renovationhistory, exterior banners, interior lobby banners, and projects associated with enhancing the Rialtoimage in public spaces.Provides public relations and marketing support for sponsorships.Creates and maintains the photographic, print, audio and video presence of the Rialto Center and itsactivities.Supervises updates and makes improvements to the website.Cultivates and engages in citywide arts activities.Attends evening performances.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a business field and two years of supervisory or managerial experience; or a combination of education and related experience.Preferred Hiring Qualifications:Knowledge of the arts and performing arts.Knowledge of other languages is helpful.Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphic arts programs.Knowledge of artists and their needs.Ability to interface with the media.Ability to supervise and direct the work of others.Ability to produce mock-ups for larger pieces, such as brochures, handbooks, and catalogs.Ability to operate a digital camera or 35mm camera.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.College/Business Unit: Auxiliary & Support Services Department: 172010025 Location: Atlanta Campus Shift: 8:30am-5:15pm M-F; evenings and weekends as needed Salary : $50,000 - $55,000 Pay Grade: 17 FLSA Status: Exempt Job Type: Full Time (Benefits Eligible) Job Posting: 07/18/24, 8:21:42 PM Closing Date: 08/02/24, 3:59:00 AM Special Instructions:
