ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

At least 2 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.Strong understanding of foundational SEO best practices such as SEO-friendly site architecture, meta tags, robots.txt, and managing redirects, and can demonstrate knowledge through definition and application.Strong analytical skills; ability to proactively assess SEO performance and identify issues and opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high caliber of attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to break down a complex SEO task into manageable steps.Ability to work well independently, learn new concepts quickly, and work within a team environment.Proficiency working in Microsoft ExcelProficiency working within Google Search ConsoleExperience working with any of the following website analytics and SEO tools, such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Trends (these are examples)JOB RESPONSBILITIES-

This role will focus on a wide range of SEO efforts, including keyword research, internal link optimization, technical improvements, platform and navigation improvements, and developing reporting & insights to maximize opportunity and impact.Collaborate with the content team to create content briefs.Support technical SEO via JIRA ticket creation and ticket grooming support.Conducting thorough keyword research and identifying high-value, relevant keywords to targetLearn and demonstrate expertise with our e-commerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) to support catalog structure and growth, data entry, managing redirects, and implementing metadata.Assist with monitoring our SEO suite of tools (Ahrefs, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics), identify growth opportunities, and maintain platforms.

Perform competitive research, identifying what SKECHERS competitors are doing right, what they're doing wrong, and how these tactics influence the brand.Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends including structured data, A.I. as it relates to SEO, and core web vitals.Creating Standard Operating Procedures to document current and new processes • Collaborating with other teams to ensure SEO strategies align with overall marketing goals • Coordinate with team members for meetings and set agendas.Assist SEO Manager with scaling and communicating US SEO strategy to international team members and agency partners.
