The OPEN MINDS Marketing Director for Education & Events at OPEN MINDS is an integral part of the Events team, responsible for the design, development, and successful execution of all Events marketing, content, and design strategies for meeting revenue and attendance goals in the Executive Education business unit. The position's role is to assure that we are using the latest marketing strategies and best practices to reach our audience in the health and human services field, as well as ensuring that we are delivering cutting-edge content and market positioning for our events.

Responsibilities of the position include:

Lead the development of monthly and yearly marketing plans to promote the five major OPEN MINDS Events throughout the year to meet attendance goals.Lead the design and development of the company's education web sites and use SEO best practices to drive organic traffic to the education event web sites.Manages daily maintenance of company's education websites with agenda updates and changes.Produce analytics and ROI reports for all online marketing and lead generation activities, where applicable.Lead the design and development of events marketing materials, including but not limited to, print brochures, events signage, program booklets, email blasts, press releases, social media campaigns, LinkedIn and Google Ads, etc.Leads the development of curricula and event agendas that will drive attendance by health care executives to OPEN MINDS institutes, summits, and seminars, with OPEN MINDS institute chairs and the Events General Manager.Creates Events market positioning across all five events in collaboration with Events General Manager and OPEN MINDS Institute chairs.Assists in the acquisition and tracking of high-quality presentation speakers for all events.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Two or more years of demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing plans, preferably in the healthcare field.Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating successful outbound email campaignsDemonstrated experience developing optimized promotional landing pages (Wordpress or HTML/CSS knowledge)Demonstrated ability to develop and execute external online promotional campaigns and social media campaigns, such as LinkedIn InMail campaignsDemonstrated experience developing marketing content and market positioning, preferably in the healthcare field.Superior knowledge of Google Adwords, Google Adsense, and pay-per-click marketing strategiesEffective knowledge of a wide variety of web-based and computer-based design applications including the Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteStrong organizational and project management skillsGood interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of people across the business development, publishing, and executive teamsAbility to work independently and with little supervision to manage numerous tasks with competing deadlinesA bachelor's degree in marketing/communications, healthcare, or a related fieldVehicle and valid driver's license with ability to drive a car and travel unattendedAbility to travel within the United States up to six times per yearAbility to lift 35 poundsAbility to stand and sit for long periods of time, as well as bending and lifting from a sitting or standing position

$75K - $80K Annual Salary
