Founded in 1987, Witt's extensive portfolio features exceptional custom and classic homes in and around the historic city of Saratoga Springs and the surrounding Capital Region.Applicant must have a degree from an interior design program and an extensive portfolio of your past design work. You should also be proficient in design software, either a kitchen specific program or a computer-aided design tool preferably Sketchup. Familiarity with details of building a kitchen and cabinet making is beneficial.Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills, a creative eye and can meet deadlines. Salary range is $50K - $80K depending on experience.Designer Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with John Witt and design team to create cohesive cabinetry, built-in and millwork design.Schedule meetings with John Witt and clients to discuss their kitchen design goals.Draw up plans and mock-ups to show clients.Draft detailed blueprints for the construction team to follow.Field measure all millwork and cabinetry areas on site, make changes to drawings according to field measure prior to ordering.Contact vendors to obtain specific materials.
