A Brief Overview

This position responsible for leading the creation of user-centered website that serves diverse audiences with differing needs, expectations and opportunities, ensuring accessibility, efficiency and aesthetically pleasing experience. The appropriate candidate is experienced in UX/UI development and design, skilled in understanding and translating business requirements and any technical limitations into customer journey maps, wireframes/mock ups, storyboards and designs that engage users in highly satisfactory experience. Role requires ability to develop and implement user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand experience, and also to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure overall functionality and efficiency of the site and iterate as needs and capabilities evolve.

What you will doGrasp the complexity of website needs/opportunities to serve different audiences, including the various interfaces and integrations required to deliver seamless, exceptional user experienceConduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user behaviors, needs, pain points, existing capabilities and limitations and business requirements necessary to lead development of wireframes, designs and appropriate interfaces for intuitive user experienceCreate wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop high-fidelity prototypes that illustrate the intended user experience.Optimize for desktop, mobile and tablet applicationsCollaborate with the business analyst, development team and stakeholders, including colleagues in IT, Marketing, HR etc., to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the intended user experience.All other duties as assigned

Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree in graphic design, computer science, marketing or software engineering required

Experience Qualifications3+ years of UX design experience requiredExtensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design requiredExperience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), InVision, etc.Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and UI design skills and problem-solving abilities.Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skillsAbility to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet/exceed expectationsA solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.Knowledge of current web design trends and technologies.A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
