Packaging/Label DesignerContract: 5 month W2 ContractPR: $40-$48/hr Depending on YOEHybrid Schedule: Reynoldsburg, OH 43068ResponsibilitiesThe Designer is responsible for designing new concepts and designs for a product category within defined theme and seasons from concept through back end work and final delivery.Will be supporting our client's Home category: Hand Soaps, Candles, and Sanitizers.Delivers brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print and graphic design for new/existing product lines.Researches and interprets fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand.Creates Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for hand-off to the Production Team Order.Review mechanical art work for final design approval prior to release.Requirements:Proficient in creative suitePresenting designs and the intellect behind the development of these designsCuration of trends and developing artwork to honor our client's handwritingTeam player, flexible, multitasking, speed with still having an eye for detail.Disqualifiers:Not able to work on more than one project at a time.Doesn't feel proficient in Illustrator or Photoshop.Doesn't want to present.Typical Work Day:Working on multiple seasons, designing new concepts, getting files ready for productions, and attending virtual meetings.Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
