Overview

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating social, print, and web designs for the Hartford Wolf Pack and assist in creative digital and print assets for the XL Center. The purpose of this position is to create designs that drive brand recognition and fan excitement.

This role will pay $15.69/hour

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

ResponsibilitiesCreate visually engaging graphics, including but not limited to, social media posts, banners, motion graphics, and advertisements for various platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Print designsCollaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative campaigns that align with the Hartford Wolf Pack brand and objectivesMaintain a consistent aesthetic and brand identity across all marketing assetsStay up to date with industry trends, social media platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual contentWork closely with the content team to ensure timely delivery of graphics that support ongoing marketing and promotional efforts, including game days, events, and community initiativesPartner internally to optimize creative campaign effectiveness, experimentation results, and collaborate to iterate and improve creative based on data and analyticsConstantly develop skills and explore new creative techniquesCommunicate creative ideas within a collaborative environmentOther duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design (preferred) but open to applicants currently taking classes in this fieldMinimum of 1-2 years design experience, preferably in sports and/or entertainmentMust provide a design/work portfolio representative of a broad skill and creative setProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, After Effects) & other graphic design softwareExperience in video production, using Adobe Premiere, preferred but not requiredExcellent technology, communication, organization, and attention to detailExcellent written and oral communications skills
