If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.CCC Marketing serves as an in-house creative center, offering solutions to all marketing and communication needs, working with offices and departments across the district to tell CCC’s story to a wide range of audiences, both internal and external. The department’s mission is to preserve and strengthen the reputation and brand of CCC through a variety of communication mediums including print, digital, video, and social media. CCC Marketing is committed to creating communications that engage and inform various audiences and promote CCC through strategic marketing and branding.PRIMARY OBJECTIVEReporting to the Executive Director of Marketing Communications, the Director – Marketing & Digital Media oversees the development and implementation of marketing strategies; creating marketing content; managing projects from inception to execution as well as reporting and analysis of results; and leading paid and organic social-media initiatives.The Director - Marketing & Digital Media manages both traditional and digital media projects, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders across colleges and district-office departments. This role requires writing, reviewing, and editing content for a variety of marketing channels to ensure quality and consistency in CCC’s brand voice. The position also coordinates paid and organic social media with the support of district-level and college partners. Performs related duties as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES· Participates in developing, implementing, and analyzing marketing, recruitment, and branding campaigns to advance CCC’s strategic objectives.· Collaborates with the Executive Director of Marketing Communications and the VC of Institutional Branding and Strategic Marketing to recommend and evaluate marketing strategies throughout the prospective-student journey.· Serves as a college liaison from CCC Marketing to internal clients, meeting with college contacts and developing creative briefs for client marketing projects. Communicates project details, including campaign objectives and goals, to creative staff (e.g., designers, photographers) for the execution of various tasks.· Supports day-to-day marketing operations, collaborating with cross-functional team members to conceptualize, create, review, and refine marketing deliverables. This includes project management and content creation for print, digital, and other marketing channels.· Writes, edits, and proofreads copy for use in high-impact marketing materials such as email journeys, viewbooks, program sheets, and more.· Develops the creative (i.e., words and images seen in actual ad) for paid social media campaigns.· Builds relationships with colleges to coordinate organic social media posts and manage online community engagement to maintain brand consistency and best practices across social media platforms and accounts. Also develops organic social media content for district-level initiatives and for coverage of special events before, during, and after they occur.· Analyzes the performance of traditional and digital marketing campaigns for opportunities to optimize current campaigns and to improve future campaigns.· Stays informed of the latest trends in marketing, including emerging platforms. Proactively monitors the marketing and higher-education landscapes for innovations, identifying opportunities for CCC brand application.· Performs related duties as required.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports To Executive Director-Marketing CommunicationsDirect Supervision NoneQUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field· Five years of marketing, communications, and/or digital marketing experience· Experience driving inbound marketing through lead-generation strategies and tactics· In-depth knowledge and proficiency in managing paid social media campaigns, including budget management, audience building, creative development, and performance analysis· Experience managing organic social media communities· Excellent writing, collaboration, presentation, project-management, and interpersonal communication skills· Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions· Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment· Ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment· Ability to travel to events and college locations as needed· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)WE OFFER: Excellent health and welfare benefit package and long-term savings and investment programs including 403(b) & 457(b) Investment Plans and a pension plan with the State University Retirement System (SURS) Plan.
