The AS, Influencer Marketing Specialist has command of the digital media + influencer landscape, experience in digital strategy + content creation, client services + account management experience, and has a finger-on-the-pulse of consumer and pop-culture/societal trends that affect consumer behavior.

Become a key member of the agency’s influencer team, participating in new business opportunities and identifying new trends, POVs and thought leadership related to the industryDevelopcomprehensiveinfluencer strategiesacross industries,verticals, and brand programsRecommend the optimal influencer approach relevant toa client’s program objectives, including demonstrating how the influencers you recommend align with a client’s target audienceRegularly identify and vet new and up-and-coming influencers forcurrent-, future-, short- and long-termprogramsCreate meaningful relationships with online influencers to deliver above-and-beyond content and engagement for clientsNegotiate influencer contracts, with guidance from legal and leadership to deliver solid ROI for clientsIntegrate paid,owned,and earned influencer tactics into a larger cohesivedigital and mediastrategyIdentify creative ways to break through with influencersthroughearnedtacticsWork with our analytics team to report on results that align to the customer journey and deliver insights and learningsWork closely with agency partners to share assets for paid mediaDevelop and oversee media relations strategies and deliver resultsGenerate ideas for media outreach and pitch effortsDirect and supervise special events (e.g., desk side briefings, editor events, etc.)Client RelationsServe as key day-to-day client contactKeep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadliness are metStructure long term plans and program recommendations for clientsEarn the confidence of mid-to-senior level client contacts and other client executivesProactively handle client problems quickly and adeptlyContribute to and promote business development by counseling clientsDevelop and deliver client presentationsIs proficient in client’s social media strategy and advocates for PR and social integration where applicableTeamAct as key contact for internal account staff to address issuesRun + lead internal meetingsRecommend account assignments to managing directorTrain and motivate team membersConduct performance reviewsCreate opportunities for team members to enhance growth with agencyStrategically evaluate employee strengths and assign team accordinglyMake recommendations regarding salary increases, promotions, etc.Track team results against client’s goalsEnsure account team members adhere to agency time reporting and financial guidelinesInvolved in staffing of team, including reviewing resumes and interviewing candidatesEffectively communicate and manage up to senior team members about client or internal team issues and successesEducation:Bachelor’s DegreeProfessional experience :5+ years experience at a digital, advertising, media or PR agency, and a deep understanding of social media and digital marketing, specifically developing and executing influencer programsExcellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skillsExperience working with influencer networks, individual influencers and influencer identification,management,and measurement toolsExperience creating and executing paid social and digital campaigns across social channels such asTikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, FacebookandPinterest, YouTubeExperience executing brand-level social media strategies and ability to communicate themwith complete digital fluencyExperience working withcross-functional and IATpartners to incorporate influencerplans in to360 programsAbility to execute and measure multifaceted campaigns and day-to-day communications initiativesDeVries is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
