GIS Technician

40 hoursplease apply directly by emailing your resume and a brief write-up of why you are a fit to oflynn@This position is responsible for data entry, processing, and maintenance of Distribution data in the company's Distribution Geographical Database System (DistGIS).Job Requirements:Education and Job Experience:-Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a GIS related field is a plus.- Certificate in GIS is a plus- Experience working with ESRI's ArcMap/ArcPro and Schneider's ArcFM editing tools in Distribution electric systems.Job Responsibilities:- Data entry into the GIS database regarding planned and completed field work.- Data entry using AutoCad for underground subdivisions- Researching and correcting Fuzzy Customer's in GIS/CSS- Coordinate updates with the Division's and the DCC related to projects that extend many months - Maintain high standards for data quality- Reconcile data conflicts- Provide storm support for ERTs and/or pinging meters- Provide mapping/technical support for DistGIS users.Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge of PD Technology processes and applications including but not limited to: DistGIS, NMS, JETS, CSS, EIS, Maximo - Experience using Microsoft Office which includes Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel. - GIS/AutoCAD - Proven ability to multitask and strong decision-making abilities - Analytical approach to problem solving - Able to maintain focus on assigned tasks - Good written and oral communication skills - Good interpersonal skillsplease apply directly by emailing your resume to oflynn@
