Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products business segment. Representing more than 150 disciplines, its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate development, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects.

This Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting an Imagineering VP level executive in the Creative Studio. What You Will Do

It goes without saying that there will be expense reports, travel planning, hundreds of phone messages and endless calendar jockeying, but this job is very much about people. The relationship you form with the executive you support is absolutely critical, because that's what enables you to become a true partner. In addition to understanding your executive's business needs, you will also need to understand the leadership and workings of Disney Experiences and of related departments across the Disney enterprise. As the "face" of your executive within The Walt Disney Company, your professionalism, loyalty and attitude are a reflection of the office, and as such, are a key component to its success.

Every day is different! On any given day you might:

Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, screening and routing phone calls, managing calendars, processing invoices, scheduling meetings requiring significant coordination and follow up, and ensuring timely and effective communicationsPrepare for meetings including setup for large presentations/video conferences with multiple sitesLead the planning, coordination, and execution of business travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, meeting coordination, and remote support when an executive is out of the office, considering time zones, weather delays, traffic and fatigue levelsPrepare expense reports in Concur and ensure they are submitted in a timely mannerInterface directly with other senior executives, their support teams and external organizations - your ability to work well with people on all levels is a very important part of your jobReview your leader's schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meetingUnderstand the day's priorities so you can be strategic about how you direct phone callsBe ready to throw the entire schedule out the door when an something urgent comes up, then pick it up again when the dust settlesHandle very confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded companyDraft letters and emails on behalf of your leaderProvide additional office support such as ordering supplies, and processing purchase orders and approval processesCoordinate department off-sites and events as neededAssist with any special projects and other related duties as neededRequired Qualifications & Skills

At least 3 years supporting an executive or equivalent experienceSharp written and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabularyDesire to immerse yourself fully and learn all aspects of your executive's businessAbility to multi-task and prioritize deadlines/deliverablesStrong proficiency with all types of computers, phones and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Confluence, Concur, and working in a Windows and Apple environmentsA calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpectedComplete reliability handling confidential, often highly sensitive informationDesire to truly be helpful to your leaders and co-workers, to go the extra mile without being askedSome flexibility in your schedule - we value work/life balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time may be neededVery strong organizational skills and utmost attention to detailA highly professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitudePreferred Qualifications

Experience at The Walt Disney Company and/or Experience working in a large public corporationMac experienceExperience working with ImagineeringExperience with video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, Slack, Zoom, TeamsSome presentation skills (Power Point, Keynote, Adobe suite)Good knowledge of current technology trendsExperience in the architecture, design and construction industryEducation

Required: High school diplomaPreferred: BA/BS or equivalent preferred

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $63,400.00 to $85,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
