To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in or adjacent to Pacific Time Zone.Your future teamWe're looking for a Lead Product Designer to join the Usability at Scale Program Team within Enterprise Trust. This new and wide-ranging program is specifically designed to identify and execute strategies for scaling our products and platforms to better serve our larger Enterprise client base.In this pivotal role, you will be directly reporting to the Head of Design, Enterprise Trust. You will also be joining a globally diverse organization, comprising dynamic teams based across America, Australia, and India.Your role will involve shaping and driving our design vision and strategy for the Usability at Scale program. You will collaborate with executive leadership, other Individual Contributor (IC) designers, and leaders of various design and cross-craft teams across our company.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the strategic vision and produce conceptual design outcomes that provide a clear direction for our scalable customer experiences across the Usability at scale landscapeApply your systems thinking and ability to understand complex relationships between various products, channels, and features to drive better design outcomesIdentify opportunities to enhance our products and platforms to enable Usability at scale for our customersSupport the Head of Design with craft-related topics, advising on best practices for processes and ritualsHelp improve craft quality for all design specializations in your teamDrive design reviews, design crits and be the design craft leader and coach to other designers to ensure consistent and cohesive scalable experiencesPartner with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional team members to create a unified design view of what defines scalable experiences and capabilities across AtlassianLead design projects from creation to execution and be responsible for tying back to customer value delivery and outcomesIdentify success metrics ensuring design solutions continue to deliver customer valueCollaborate with some of the industry's smartest (and nicest) people. You'll work with Engineers, Product Managers, Product and Content Designers, Researchers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts to advocate for the user experience in our products and ship high-quality workQualifications10+ years of product design experience designing complex or enterprise-level softwareExperience in creating and delivering strategic org-wide design programs that impact multiple delivery teamsVery strong skillset in visual and interaction design which enables you to guide the team and help improve their design craft, demonstrable in a visual portfolioAbility to visually communicate your work for influence and impactAbility to handle ambiguity and navigate strong platform complexity, bringing clarity and simplicity to complex problemsExperience in end-to-end UX/product design to design impactful solutions to challenging problemsPassion for story-telling, the ability to bring design direction to life with compelling narrativeExperience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibilityFacilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead company-wide outcomes and positively influence future delivery roadmaps.Experience in design systems, and the ability to identify common components required to support a wide array of customer use cases.Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methodsExperience improving process and methodology to increase product value, team velocity and accelerate the adoption of new capabilitiesCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.RoleIn the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $216,600 - $288,800Zone B: $194,900 - $259,900Zone C: $179,800 - $239,700This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.Please visit go.atlassian.com/payzones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
