| As our
Director of Website UX Design
at HexClad you will lead the design and user experience strategy, ensuring a seamless and engaging online journey for customers. This role involves managing a team of designers, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create cohesive design solutions. The Director will continuously optimize the user experience through testing and data analysis while staying updated with the latest UX/UI trends.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive UX design strategy that aligns with HexClad's business goals and enhances the overall user experience.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX/UI designers, ensuring high-quality design outputs and fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
User Research:
Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions, ensuring a user-centered design approach.
Design Execution:
Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and best practices.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions that meet business and user needs.
Optimization:
Continuously analyze and optimize the user experience through A/B testing, user feedback, and performance metrics to drive engagement, conversion, and satisfaction.
Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, technologies, and industry best practices, integrating innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
Proven experience in leading and managing design teams.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive design decisions and improvements.
Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, preferred.
Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry a plus.
