PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00*

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure

A Technical Designer manages their product category from concept to production by establishing maintaining consistent fit standards, manufacturing methods, grading pattern blocks between multiple factories. They are also responsible for managing workflow to meet seasonal calendars by working closely with cross functional partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Overall execution of fit, grading construction while maintaining optimum quality from initial prototype development through production approvalCreates provides pattern and/or pattern direction throughout developmentCreates maintains company block patternsCollaborates with Design, Product Management Vendors to develop products that meet target cost brand standardsPrepares prototypes leads fit sessions on live models with Design Product Management to arrive at a cohesive, executable directionDevelops and routes technical packages including graded specifications, construction details requested fit corrections for accurate costing prototypingTakes initiative to continually improve quality of fit / constructionOther duties as assignedDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
