Reports to the VP of Sales

This Florida based position will manage and further develop a growing Marketing organization. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the direction and broad supervision of all marketing activities with the main objective of supporting the corporate identity of LidWorks in the Food Service Industry. The position requires a strong background in strategic planning, program development, marketing management, and a thorough understanding of food service packaging, messaging, and contemporary marketing methods.

Purpose of Position:

Responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Reports marketing and sales results to senior executives.

Essential Functions:Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecastsOversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or servicesDevelop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front doorDeploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to executionExperiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much moreResearches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategiesWorks with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teamsApproves and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projectsCommunicates with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruitionProvides in-depth information to interested clients, and acts as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetingsWorks within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or serviceTracks all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executivesAdjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedbackSkills and Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in marketing or a related fieldDemonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learnProven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivateSolid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheetsGood taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communicationUp-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
