The Role

HOKA is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to join their North America Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce Team. The primary objective of this role is to maintain high visual integrity and support channel strategies, delivering engaging and seamless digital experiences on HOKA.com and HOKA.ca.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to design for the entire digital onsite journey and have experience working within segmentation strategies.

The ideal candidate will find joy in the creative process, from ideation to execution, and be motivated through collaborations. This role sits at the intersection across creative, marketing, eCommerce, and development teams. Successful candidates will be highly skilled at synthesizing diverse perspectives into cohesive design solutions.

Candidates should be prepared to balance strategic thinking with creative execution. Building a robust portfolio that demonstrates a range of digital design skills and understanding eCommerce KPIs is crucial. Staying updated with digital innovation trends and being able to interpret them into brand-relevant content will set you apart.

Accountabilities and Functions:

Lead eCommerce Creative Projects:

Ideate and develop concepts while maintaining global brand identity and meeting business requirements.Cross-Team Collaboration:

Understand shared objectives and ideate on associated KPIs to ensure measurement of executions leads to actionable insights.Create Engaging and Interactive Personalized Online Content:

Utilize briefs to design homepages, landing pages, and other onsite content with a focus on next-in-class customer experiences.Facilitate and Participate in Idea Sessions:

Contribute constructively to brainstorming sessions with the ability to facilitate as needed depending on the project.Wireframes and Concepts:

Build and validate wireframes and concepts; provide validity and feasibility checks as needed.High-Quality Content Creation:

Utilize animation and video editing skills to produce enriched content for various channels as necessary.Optimize Digital Images:

Ensure all images are optimized for all devices with a mobile-first mindset, adhering to best practices in retouching, cropping, editing, and packaging.Brand Consistency:

Serve as a brand guardian by reviewing designs for brand consistency. Responsible for evolving and maintaining the digital design style guide.Adapt to Business Needs:

Work on a variety of online and offline projects to meet evolving business demands.Stay Updated with Trends:

Keep abreast of digital innovation trends and interpret them into engaging content.Oversee eCommerce Design Work Stream:

Ensure all digital assets and executions meet excellent standards and project requirements.Delegate and Collaborate:

Work closely with other designers and developers to ensure seamless production and UI design requirements.Resource Management:

Create a project and asset resource structure for efficient access to current and past work.Reporting and Insights:

$130,000 - $140,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
