Yorktel is currently seeking a Graphic Designer who will assist in digital and print graphic design, publication development, typesetting, and the creation and editing of specialized multimedia presentations. The Graphic Designer will support the customer with all graphic design work. The duties of Graphic Designers include creating designs for digital and printed posters supporting agency initiatives, banners and banner-ups for customer events such as regional conferences and public affairs campaigns, setting up displays, designing for both internal and national communications, and performing various other duties.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Regularly communicate with internal and external customers to achieve mutually desirable outcomes.Make recommendations to internal parties and customers regarding concerns or issues, ensuring resolution by working closely with assigned clients.Regularly communicate answers to questions and respond to detailed inquiries about issues.Handle and protect all internal and external confidential information, utilizing discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.Support agency initiatives, banners, and banner-ups for customer events such as regional conferences and public affairs campaigns.Create designs for digital and printed posters.Set up displays and design for both internal and national communication.Perform desktop publishing.Design graphics for both digital and print media.Responsible for post-design presentation of materials, including printing, cutting, laminating, and mounting of printed designs such as flyers, banners, backdrops, etc.Set up banners, banner-ups, flyers, backdrops, posters, and other large graphic displays.Assist with other design and multimedia projects as assigned.Interact with clients and project stakeholders to determine specifics of design requests while maintaining a professional approach and demeanor.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Abilities:

Microsoft Office Suite – must be able to use the software applications included in the most current version of Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint in support of graphic design and other multimedia presentations and the communication thereof.Adobe Creative Cloud – must be able to use the software applications included in the most current version of Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in support of graphic design and other multimedia presentations.Adobe Acrobat – must be able to use the most current version of Adobe Acrobat and be capable of converting documents from various software applications into .pdf format.Web Compatibility – must be able to create and convert documents from various software applications into web-friendly graphics files compatible with the customer’s existing internet and intranet infrastructures.Printing – must know how and be able to print, cut, laminate, and mount printed designs such as flyers, banners, backdrops, etc.Design Display – must be able to set up banners, banner-ups, flyers, backdrops, posters, and other large graphic displays.Proofreading/Editing – must have experience reviewing documents to ensure spelling, grammar, and layout conversion rules such as hyphenation standards, etc.Education & Experience:

5 years of experience in the Graphic Design field orHave an Associate’s Degree or certificate in the graphic design field plus 3 years of experience in Graphic DesignAdditional Requirements:

May require occasional lifting to 25 lbs.Requires extensive sitting, standing, and walkingDomestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work areaValid driver’s licenseValid Passport; International travel may be requiredMust be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contractsMust be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.
