Reporting to the assigned Creative Director, this role is a vital part of the Creative Studio, requiring a unique approach to user interfaces that range from touchscreen activations to gesture-driven immersive experiences, among others. The UI/UX Designer is focused on creating designs that are as functional and user-friendly as they are memorable. This position demands an enthusiastic approach to unique design challenges and thrives in working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

may include but are not limited to:Leads technology and digital design projectsCreates user experience designCreates conceptual design, design detailing, branding packagesMaintains strong range of graphic design aesthetics and flexible design stylesStays up to date with popular culture, technology trends, and industry newsConducts market research and user testing with a wide range of prototype fidelity.Supports and contributes to the project teams executed design solution and deliverables on assigned projectsExecutes and delivers project-based solutions with speed and quality, while incorporating and maintaining project leaderships direction and feedbackContributes to client presentations and communications as assignedCreates UI Style Guides and assets based on brand guidelinesImplements usability testing to understand user behavior and motivationsInterfaces directly with internal departments to learn and understand potential solutionsExudes a go where needed attitudeProvides quality control for design documentsDisplays initiative with managing everyday tasks as well as development of personal and Creative studio goalsResponsible for design tasks, designing user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and storyboardsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability to learn new skills and software quicklyAbility to take direction and constructive critique wellAuthentic desire to be a team playerDemonstrates progress in quality and design solution techniquesIndependent thinking/solutions and autonomyPossess an interest in material and fabrication methods for digital hardware enclosuresAbility to manage multiple projects running concurrently and switch gears between project tasks quicklyComfortable with fast-paced project timelinesProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: XD (or alternative), Photoshop, Illustrator.Advanced understanding of UX, UI, IXD and Motion DesignHigh energy level, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail, including analytical problem-solving skillsUnderstands project deadlines and milestones along with having strong time management skills to meet deadlinesEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or other related field required3+ years of relevant graphic and/or UI/UX design experience requiredHas some experience or exhibit a willingness to learn InTouch Designer, Unity or Unreal EngineKnowledge of Google Sketchup, After Effects, and/or 3D modeling is a plusStrong storyboarding skills preferredStrong knowledge of the design process including concept generation, creative solutions, messaging, typography, color, and specificationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a salary (exempt) position.
