This trade association consists of a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishing companies, auto restorers, builders, restylers, car clubs, race teams and more. From performance products for street and race applications to accessories for late-model automobiles and light-duty trucks, SEMA-member companies contribute to the vitality and strength of a $42-billion-a-year retail industry.

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITYManage the email marketing system across multiple business units within the enterprise.Develop and maintain a comprehensive email calendar and provide recommendations on strategies that drive engagement without over contacting our subscribers.Ensure emails are built and tested for consumption across multiple devices and email platforms. Each email should adhere to responsive HTML design principles.Stay current on new email tools, techniques, and strategies to optimize performance, engagement, and effectiveness.Ensure CAN-SPAM compliance to maintain high deliverability, data hygiene and channel health. Monitor deliverability and help to remediate blocks or IP issues.Act as a subject matter expert when it comes to email marketing, content management, automation, and deployment tools.Configure and deploy one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven emails, newsletters, campaigns, and journeys.Monitor and report on email engagement metrics.Work with stakeholders and data team to ensure effective email audience segmentation to optimize campaign engagement.Work with IT team to develop and maintain lead generation forms (Digioh, PushPlanet, Formsite) when tied to email marketing efforts.Provide consultation and training sessions for internal stakeholders who utilize the email marketing system for message deployment.Manage external vendor relationships.When requested by management, perform other duties and responsibilities as required.RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to Digital Marketing Director.Supervises Email Production Specialist.Works closely with the IT department.Interfaces with association staff, departmental stakeholders, and outside vendors.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

BA or BS Degree required.3-5 years of relevant work experience in an enterprise marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/iPost/Marketo) and 3rd party software services (Litmus/Email on Acid).Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.Deep understanding of email marketing best practices and automation tools.Demonstrated ability to complete work independently with careful attention to detail and follow-up.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to effectively communicate and advocate for optimal email marketing strategies.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize campaign performance.Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools like Google Analytics.Experience with CRM systems, such as NetForum.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.Strong written and oral communication skills.Willingness to travel occasionally.Experienced Microsoft Excel user.

Salary Range: This position's estimated annual base salary is $80,000-$104,000. Actual base salary will be dependent on individual’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is eligible for 401k Savings plan, Healthcare (medical, dental and vision), and other generous rewards and benefits.
