Job Summary

Region Sales Manager (RSM) - will have responsibility for managing and generating sales and the sales channel in the Northeastern U.S. Communications market segment and strategic account management for Oldcastle P&C-OSP & Premise Enclosure business. This position will be held to meeting and exceeding sales in a profitable manner that is in line with helping reach the corporate EBITDA initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Generate profitable sales of P&C in the OSP & Premise communications market.Implement the sales and marketing plans and strategies for long term business growth while achieving the company's annual sales growth goals.Manage and provide direction to Independent Sales Representatives (ISR) along with working with Inside Sales Associates (ISA) that are in line with the corporate growth goals.Manage the network of Independent Sales Representatives to ensure proper market coverage and are holding accountability to sales goals.Manage customer relationships as needed and lead the development and closing of all strategic customer opportunities.Communicate market segment changes and competitor analysis.Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.Ensure ISR's are working together with ISA's to ensure a team alignment and the same messaging is being communicated to all customers.Identify, develop and manage profitable relationships with organization's target accounts.Understand overall communications market trends and needs and able to communicate as necessary these influencing to upper management.Understand contracts from a commercial side and provide review of new contracts.Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.Help cross train and on-board employees with market overview and key account status.Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients.Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services.Drive spec influence at engineering firms and end users in the Comm Market - conduct sales presentations virtually and/or in personEducation/Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or finance preferred.5+ years' experience in sales.5+ years' experience with outside sales and managing a sales team.5+ years' experience in the communication market.Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Understanding of Outside plant and Premise product applications.Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.Sharp negotiation and networking skills.Proven leadership successes.Exceptional project management skills.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Multi-tasking and analytical abilities to provide decisive solutions for internal and customer initiative.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding established goals and quotas.Strong functional usage MS Office and other internal applications.Proven record of sales growth.Problem-solving skills along with forward thinking to ensure resolutions.Experience with working with customer service, product management and marketing.Work and Physical Requirements

Office location for this position is Atlanta, GA. or remote/work from home in the territory of responsibility with in 1 hour of major airportAbility to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs approximately 80% of annual timeThe position may require work outside of normal business hours to achieve objectives & meet customer needs.Work Environment

Normal office working conditions in addition to occasional Oldcastle Infrastructure plant sites and construction sites require the usage of personal protective equipment, e.g., hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
