Junior Designer

At33SIXTY - Flexform SF & LA, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic JuniorDesigner to support our Los Angeles showroom. This role is ideal for a creativeindividual with a strong foundation in interior design and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:- Design Support: Assist the SF & LA sales teams with indoor and outdoorfurniture design, providing essential support and expertise.- Client Interaction: Participate in meetings with interior designers and architects,offering design insights and solutions.- AutoCAD Drafting: Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for sectional andfurniture layouts, supporting design associates with accurate and precisedocumentation.- Material Selection: Aid in the selection of finishes and materials, ensuringalignment with client preferences and project requirements.- Field Verification: Visit client homes with design associates for siteassessments, conceptualization, and design verification.- Showroom Management: Collaborate with the owner and studio manager tochoose models and finishes for showroom displays; maintain an up-to-dateinventory of display furniture for both LA and SF showrooms.- Website and Graphics: Work with the owner on various design projectsincluding the website, signage, and graphics. Update the 33SIXTY website withcurrent models, finishes, and ready-made products.- Spec Sheets and Documentation: Create and manage spec sheets for ready-made products, ensuring they are available on the network; maintain acomprehensive library of spec sheets and finishes on Dropbox.- Presentation Creation: Develop PowerPoint presentations for annual productreleases to aid the sales team in their interactions with interior designers andarchitects.- Standards Improvement: Review and update AutoCAD drawing andpresentation standards with the owner to enhance accuracy and efficiency.- Product Training: Participate in training sessions with sales representatives tostay informed about new products and industry trends.Skills and Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D experience isa plus), with a strong understanding of space planning and material selections.- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with image and layout programs such asPhotoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.- Computer Skills: Competence in using Apple computers.- Measuring and Surveying: Accurate measuring and site survey skills to ensureprecise design and implementation.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits- Opportunities for professional growth and development- A collaborative and creative work environment- Exposure to high-profile design projectsIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for design, wewould love to hear from you.
