Engineering partners, Inc. is a multidiscipline engineering and design firm with offices in Hawai'i, Las Vegas, and Manila. We are looking for a Civil Designer to join our diverse and talented team of professionals at our Hilo office location.

The Civil Designer performs general civil engineering work, carrying out design calculations, developing technical details, conducting site observation visits, and preparing designs documents and engineering reports on a broad range of projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare civil designs and specifications for small to large scale projects.Perform calculations as well as operate various software related to the design, as directed by the Project Manager.Setup drawing files and architectural backgrounds to company standards.Review the work of drafters and other designers as it relates to a specific project.Reviews regulations and standards necessary to carry out project design and permitting work.Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects.Incorporates schedules, budgets and project criteria into Civil design and layouts.Assists design team in preparation of reports, plans, and other submittals.Obtain project information from other disciplines and incorporate into projects.Demonstrate the ability to take projects from inception to completion.Conduct site visits and investigations, analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.Performs other position-related duties and assignments as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering minimum 1 year of experience OR Associates Degree in Engineering Technology with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $74,500.00 per year
