The ideal candidate for this position would possess:An engaging personality that takes a sincere interest in othersA passion for country musicStrong social media skillsDesire to be involved with, and committed to the community, both on and off airSkilled in audio editing, running audio boards, telephone systems and related broadcast equipmentCreative in copywriting and show prepWhat you will do:Create original content that is entertaining, informative and locally relevantCreate social media content and engage with online listeners as it relates to your air shiftGet to know our audience and form a connection with themProtect the station's FCC licenseMonitor the commercial logs for the airshiftBecome a "brand ambassador" for KMMO via occasional live broadcasts and other public appearancesParticipate in the station's severe weather coverage as scheduledProduce commercials and other promotional contentOther duties as required by managementSince 1949, KMMO has been serving as West-Central Missouri's primary source for news, weather, sports, agricultural information, and country music.
