About the TeamYou will be part of the Decorative Accessories Product Development Team. You will support the Designers who design hard goods for Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery barn Teen. The team's job is to deliver innovative designs, communicate with overseas vendors and, execute on time approvals to keep remain competitive with the home decor market.About the RoleAs a Design Coordinator, you will support the team with sample management, presentation materials, vendor communication, general organization and task management.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the production of design concepts as directed by DesignersTrack department samples and designsMaintain presentation boardsMaintain Sourcing SpreadsheetPrepare department for weekly meetingsManage production of new product samplesResolve sample issues and work closely with agents and vendorsBe involved in product development cycle and calendarMaintain status reports on all product development projectsSend samples for testingUpdate and maintain seasonal product informationKeep sample room organized

CriteriaBachelors or Design degree (or experience in related field)Strong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline driven environmentStrong communication skills

***Technical Competencies required: ***Proficiency in MAC and PCDeep understanding of Microsoft ExcelFamiliarization with PLM or similar softwareBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Physical Requirements:Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a PCAbility to converse over a telephoneAbility to transport materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying objects up to 70 pounds on a limited basisAbility to work in office and perform in corporate environmentThis role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
