Position Summary:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and self-driven Creative Design and Media Manager, who can create visually compelling imagery and graphics, as well as engaging video content to capture the attention of our team members and customers. This individual will work as part of a collaborative team of content creators to tell compelling stories and raise awareness about companywide initiatives, while inspiring and promoting our values and culture, and strengthening the EG America brand internally.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the latest designs and software, be an excellent communicator and collaborator, and be able to take direction as well as use their own design and creative skills to conceptualize and create content that reinforces the great work happening every day across our convenience store brands.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, film, and edit engaging video content for our internal communication platforms; draft dialogue and talking points for scripted videos as needed.

2. Conceptualize, manage, and complete all elements of video projects including background visuals, animations, graphics, sound effects and music.

3. Use creative storytelling, including sequencing, timing, and editing techniques, to engage and entertain team members.

4. Develop eye catching imagery and animations for presentations, posters, emails, and our corporate website.

5. Edit videos and graphics for various platforms and audiences, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.

6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop videos and graphics, as needed.

7. Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that may include logos, internal materials, website elements, etc.

8. Utilize high-end software applications and be proficient in their application.

9. Stay informed about video and graphic design trends, and industry best practices.

Company leaders and key stakeholders from departments across the company.

Requirements:
Minimum Education:

A bachelor's degree in multimedia design, graphic design, visual arts, or related field, along with proven industry experience.

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in in multimedia design, graphic design, visual arts, or related field.

Minimum Experience:
  • 5-8 years of proven work experience as a graphic designer and video editor.
  • Portfolio and/or work samples required to be considered for this position.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other tools, as well as PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Solid understanding of design principles and layout composition, as well as motion graphics, visual effects, and audio and video editing.
  • Creative thinker and enthusiastic storyteller who can translate concepts into visually appealing designs and emotionally engaging videos.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality, with an eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong project management and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; can pivot and reprioritize when needed.
  • Adaptable and willing to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Calm and effective under deadline pressure.
  • Photography skills and drone experience is a plus.

Travel: Ability to travel independently 10%.

Hours & Conditions: Monday - Friday 8-hour day in hybrid work schedule (3 days in Westborough office, 2 days remote - subject to change).

Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
