Hybrid (Remote on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; In-office work required on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Job Description:

D2G is seeking a visionary and dynamic Creative Director to lead our design team and drive our brand's creative agenda. This role is pivotal in transforming business challenges into innovative design opportunities and ensuring consistent, cohesive branding across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Expertise :

- Transform business challenges into design opportunities.

- Serve as the creative lead for marquee projects, including launches, events, and brand campaigns.

- Contribute to asset creation.

2. Art Direction:

- Define the look and feel of the brand.

- Drive the creative agenda to ensure all teams align with the vision.

- Prioritize the backlog of refresh projects.

3. Create Scalable Brand Processes:

- Create alignment across teams to ensure consistent branding across all customer touchpoints.

4. Multi-Channel Branding:

- Own a variety of design formats and channels including digital, print, social, experiential, and video to ensure a cohesive and engaging brand presence.

5. Mentorship & Development:

- Inspire, educate, and collaborate with team members and contractors.

- Provide guidance and feedback to help them grow within our creative ecosystem.

- Stay updated on design/creative trends.

Proven Track Record:

- Experience in working quickly and leading design teams or large-scale projects.

- Identify and close gaps within the design process to create efficiencies and higher quality work.

- Balance innovative ideas with practical execution.

- Know when and how to flex a brand system for impactful and scalable results.

- Problem Solving:

- Leverage design to solve complex problems.

- Turn abstract ideas into tangible, impactful solutions rooted in strategy.

- Always design with the customer in mind.

- Foster meaningful relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver remarkable work.

- Brand Expertise:

- Experience in building, rebuilding, and maintaining durable brand systems.

- Lead an organization through a creative refresh end-to-end.

- Multi-Platform Design:

- Comfort and expertise in designing for various platforms, ensuring a seamless brand experience across all mediums.

- Leadership Experience:

- Directly manage teams.

- Provide direction, delegate tasks, and offer coaching.

Education & Experience:

- 15 years of experience working at advertising agencies, design studios, and/or in-house teams.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work closely with copy, UX design, and producers to ensure brand consistency across channels.

- Able to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results.

- Flexible multi-tasker with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Able to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.

- Work independently on a day-to-day basis with limited guidance on new initiatives within established processes and frameworks.

Work Program:

This role is eligible to participate in D2G's hybrid work program, which requires hybrid working employees to work in-office 40% of their regular weekly working hours (2 days per week). Our designated in-office workdays are Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week, allowing employees to work remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
