Our client, a skincare brand located in El Segundo, CA is looking for a Marketing Assistant to oversee their community engagement on all social media platforms.
This is a contract role until December 31st 2024.Hybrid Schedule - office located in El SegundoRate: $25-31/per hour DOE
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services.• Create and manage content for various platforms, including social media, website, newsletters, and press releases.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications.• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.• Handle inquiries from the media, public, and clients, and act as the company's spokesperson when necessary.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in communication• Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build a strong online community and foster brand loyalty.
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.• Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a corporate environment.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital marketing tools.• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work overtime /extended hours - checking social media on weekends
