Overview:

This position will be responsible for providing an advanced level of support to the Sales Enablement team, working across several simultaneous projects/programs by developing new content and communications, managing conferences and sponsorships, as well as presenting recommendations for content and process improvement. Represent department in cross functional, high visibility projects involving business partners outside of the department. Responsible for streamlining ongoing activities.

The M&T Realty Capital Corporation Sales Enablement Team is responsible for all things marketing, communications, and event related. The team manages all internal and external communications, conference sponsorships and activations, social media, website content, development of new marketing materials, gifting and more. The team regularly communicates with senior leadership, Loan Originators, many cross functional internal teams, external reporters, internal and external designers, conference managers and other areas on a regular basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

Take a lead role in the planning, sponsorship selection, and activation of several conferences and events each year. This includes communication with internal and external partners, negotiating contracts, ordering promo items, and attending conferences as needed 3-4 times a year.

Support execution of M&T RCC communications strategies, integrating various distribution channels including internal communications, social media, press releases, email, and other platforms.

Support the creation of marketing content leveraging internal and external design teams. Ensure that all content is properly maintained for accuracy and compliance regulations.

Participate and take a lead role in collaboration with internal partners to uncover and deliver on marketing and communication needs. This includes creation of presentations, one-pagers, social media content, researching systems and tools, etc.

Oversee a variety of reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis leveraging excel and other platforms.

Participate in and lead meetings with internal and external partners regarding conferences, production of marketing materials, recently closed transactions, and other marketing and communication related topics.

Maintain a working understanding of the Commercial sales organization and the tools the sales team uses on a daily basis. Keep abreast of business and market trends that may affect the business/department.

Drive continuous improvement of existing processes and/or the development of new processes. Identify resources that can be utilized to support business operations or improve existing business processes. Provide input and recommendations to management.

Perform complex analysis and judgment based work to derive meaningful insights and professionally communicate those insights to management and business partners.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 3 years related business line experience or in lieu of a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Commercial real estate, banking, or finance marketing experience.

Writing a variety of professional communications including press releases, social media copy, and marketing emails.

Event planning and activation.

Microsoft suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Jira exposure or experience.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $74,286.06 - $123,810.11 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
