Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and build high performing teams within your organization, including mentoring junior team members and providing technical support for engineers on the team.- Regularly communicate with business teams and contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok.- Be responsible for building an intuitive and reliable shopping flow experience, including browsing product details, check-out, shopping, return, refund, etc.- Be responsible for building excellent shopping experience in TikTok live-streaming and short videos, and building tools for live streamers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 5 years work experience.- 1 years of experience of managing or tech-leading a software engineering team.- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.- Good understanding of business, technical abstraction and system module design.- Proven data analysis skills, able to identify product opportunities from technical metrics analysis.- Proven experience in team communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualification:- Proven experience with e-commerce or cross-timezone collaboration.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $224000 - $410000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life. We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.
