Job Title: Distribution Designer
Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Designer, where you will perform various phases of planning, site evaluations, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, preparation of proposal and construction documentation and electrical plans as part of a project team. You will handle diverse projects with a variety of clients, ensuring design and drafting standards are met. Your role will involve planning and developing production drawings, analyzing problems, designing layout and calculations, and executing changes to designs. You will also analyze reports and drawings to plan and design projects, incorporating design codes and ensuring quality assurance within project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
Hard Skills
7+ years of hands on experience along with an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Electrical schematics creation
Grid plan layouts
Electrical power systems
Lighting systems
Protection and controls
Site and facility design
Drawing and presentation skills
Volume calculations for conduit/grounding layouts
Equipment and panel wiring diagrams
