Office of Marketing ServicesRegular, Exempt, Grade 3.1Location: Hybrid (One Day a Week in Office, Adelphi, MD)

The Senior Manager, Advertising Creative Operations reports to the Director, Creative Operations. This role provides critical services to the Creative and Media Strategy teams, primarily account services, project management and traffic functions to ensure requests for offline and digital advertising assets are properly scoped, prioritized, tasked with adequate timing and delivered on deadline. The Senior Manager, Advertising Creative Operations should demonstrate an expert understanding of advertising creative production and project management best practices as well as the ability to build positive and constructive relationships with external stakeholders and the marketing teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Creative Operations support (account services, project management and traffic) for production of creative advertising assets including digital, broadcast, print and out-of-home.Recommend, implement, monitor and optimize project management best practices uniquely applied to the needs of the Creative and Media Strategy teams.Act as a solutions-oriented liaison between the Creative Strategy, Media Strategy and Internal Creative Services teams and external advertising agencies in specific cases to ensure high volume, high velocity and high-quality assets are produced.Leverage and structure the Workfront project management tool optimally and specifically for the deliverables, the organization and its agencies' objectives.Organize quarterly planning meetings with the Media and Creative Strategy teams to proactively plan and prepare resources and strategy to meet goals.Maintain a positive, healthy perspective and communicate effectively with partners and creative producers. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.Manage projects within our project management tool (Workfront).Schedule and lead kick-off and process meetings as needed and provide meeting recaps. Follow up with team members on assigned tasks determined in those meetings.Prioritize work with other members of creative operations and the creative team. Negotiate as needed to escalate jobs.Develop work plans and timelines that are within Marketing Services guidelines and frameworkSet expectations with requesters regarding deliverables and timelines.Develop tools and processes to maintain a very high level of project status transparency ("self-service and on demand") and generate weekly and as needed updates and reportsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing, business administration, English, or communications7-10 years of project management experience with an advertising agency, marketing services firm, or in-house marketing organizationExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to lead and motivate othersAbility to work collaborativelyProven ability to gain the support and cooperation of othersAbility to develop creative solutions to ensure work is delivered as promisedMust be a self-starter, extremely organized and detail-orientedPREFERRED BACKGROUND, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

PMP with marketing and agency experiences preferred
