DSA is seeking a Technical Writer with an active TS/SCI

to work on-site at the FBI Headquarters in the J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington DC located on 404 9th St NW, Washington DC 20535.

Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.The Technical Writer shall provide executive-level Data Scientist services support to NSB OSU and various executive-level priority programs. Specifically, Technical Writer services shall support the following duties, which includes but is not limited to:Lead and design machine learning, statistical analysis, and data analysis tasks or multiple projects of varying complexity.Collaborate with internal and external government stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in workflows or systems.Design new approaches to handling, analyzing and using large volumes of law enforcement, intelligence, investigative, and business data sets.Develop custom data models, algorithms, and new software coding to improve data search processes.Use appropriate tools and computer programming languages, such as Python scripts, to collect and process data.Design, test, and validate the quality of data and data processes.Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.Analyze and report results with actionable recommendations.Develop visualizations, infographics, and charts to communicate results and data science derived findings for non-technical audiences.Requirements include:Active TOP SECRET clearance with the ability pass a CI-polygraph and obtain an SCI-level clearance.5+ years of experience of Data Scientist or equivalent experience working with data (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, etc.);Experienced in multiple programming languages and statistical packages, as well as knowledge of dataset tools and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/Client) tools;Experience using data systems to acquire and prepare data for research, exploration, or statistical analysis;Experience analyzing and interpreting data using exploratory techniques;Experience communicating results of analysis using summary visualizations and tables;Experience cleaning, manipulating, munging, and sub-setting data for analysis;Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work well independently and in a team environment.Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Science, Computer science or a related field;Capable of applying the latest technologies and methodologies in data mining, machine learning, and predictive analytics to correlate disparate data sets and events, and derive value.The Mission of this program is to protect the United States from weapons of mass destruction, acts of terrorism, and foreign intelligence operations and espionage.
