HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

Lube-Tech produces high-performance lubricants and fluids for today's world leaders in powersports, outdoor power equipment, industrial, marine and heavy equipment engine manufacturing, as well as customers in automotive, fleet and manufacturing-use settings. At Lube-Tech, our Business Development Management (BDM) team is responsible for the 4Ps (product, price, place, promotion) of the lubricants, fluids, hard parts and services that support those customers, with our products at the center of what we do.

The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the external marketing needs of our divisional subsidiaries and families of brands, both new and existing, primarily through content creation, campaign management and tradeshow support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Management (40%)

Generates content ideas for multiple platforms while working cross-functionally with BDM, Sales, Technology, Consumer Marketing and others to bring those written and visual pieces of content to life. Content types may include websites, articles, training, new product launches, social media and printed collateral.

Identifies opportunities to repurpose and expand existing content into new formats to support growth and customers' needs.

Leverages appropriate internal, vendor or customer marketing content to strengthen overall messaging across all formats.

Develops scripts and video-based digital content for multiple social media platforms.

Recommends updates to company-owned websites that align with business objectives, while leveraging technology-based tools to optimize content for SEO.

Publishes and manages content via marketing automation, digital asset management and other tools.

Campaign Development (40%)

Plans, recommends and executes integrated marketing communication campaigns to meet the needs of various channels with clear and consistent messaging.

Maintains marketing calendar to provide visibility to planned and completed content and collateral development, external communications and promotional activities, including print, channel-specific promotions, digital initiatives, new customer launches and more.

Works closely with BDM leadership to develop and execute various promotions to drive growth in new and existing channels and help build internal and customers' brands.

Analyzes campaign results and gathers customer insights to refine future promotional activity.

Works closely with the Sales and BDM teams to ensure campaigns and promotions align with customer or channel goals and objectives.

Creates thorough requests for support from Consumer Marketing and/or external agencies and coordinates timely and successful project completion.

Tradeshow Support (10%)

Maintains regional tradeshow event calendar and works with the Sales team to designate key attendees.

Collaborates with the Sales team and external partners to streamline booth/signage/giveaway set-up and take-down activities.

Works with BDM, Sales, Consumer Marketing and external vendors to develop effective booth/signage/giveaway materials to draw attendance.

Collects tradeshow event feedback from attendees and/or the Sales team and reports out on tradeshow performance.

Other (10%)

Stays current with industry, competitive and market trends to help Lube-Tech stay current in the marketplace, advance against competition and support customer needs.

Establishes a regular cadence of meetings, and a good working relationship with our internal subject matter experts, to determine topics of interest. Works with our technology group to "translate" lab-generated data into actionable and informative customer-facing pieces.

Continuously strives to improve the quality and effectiveness of external marketing communications.

Executes high-quality pieces in a timely manner.

Completes other projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education:

4-year degree with a focus in marketing, communication or related field

Experience and/or Training:

0-3+ years related experience, with emphasis in marketing

Requires the ability to use a personal computer and is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (minimum intermediate), Word and PowerPoint

Experience with HTML, Adobe Creative Suite and/or email publishing programs a plus

License/ Certification

Valid driver's license (auto)

Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently and has the ability to lead without authority

High degree of self-accountability, punctuality, accuracy and reliability

Works well in ambiguous situations with the competency to develop and improve processes

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate throughout the organization, with customers and with other external business contacts

PHYSICAL and MENTAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and/or hear or use hands, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds while moving actual products, files or small packages.

The employee must have sound mental reasoning and decision making as recommendations of action based on analysis of mathematical data, complex processes & procedures and narratives are an integral element of this position.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Work is primarily conducted in a hybrid office-remote environment with a minimum of three days per week in office or at customer locations where the noise level is usually moderate. The position requires infrequent travel via air or auto.
