Role Summary:
The Senior Investment Marketing Analyst within Mutual of America Capital Management has a key role in transforming the growth and distribution of our investment management business. Reporting to the Head of Investment Products, this role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of a variety of asset management-related initiatives. This includes working with internal and external stakeholders to support sales and marketing activities across a variety of products. Familiarity with various investment product structures (e.g., mutual funds, collective investment trusts, separate accounts, etc.) is critical to this role.
Responsibilities:
Manages and completes requests from internal and external clients relating to competitor analysis, one-on-one comparisons, and hypothetical allocation. Reviewing these generated reports and preparing talking points that provide insight about results, fund positioning, and competitors' funds.Fulfills ad hoc requests from distribution teams and other departments for product related inquiries, such as performance reporting, product characteristics and creation of product content. These requests require familiarity with multiple product structures, including open-ended mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and CITs.Partners with Marketing and other internal and external resources on the design and creation of ad hoc prospecting materials and sales ideas. Work with broader product team and channel marketing as a central idea source for content included in marketing material.Prepare and deliver presentations that convey complex investment concepts to external and internal clients.Maintains data in industry databases such as Evestment.Manages all aspects of the RFP process for opportunities around institutional separately managed accounts.Responsible for generating, maintaining, and distributing daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages. Ensure timely completion of all distribution team deliverables.Develops and maintains a complete understanding of competing funds' features and benefits to draw competitive advantages of our products to assist in the distribution of Mutual of America Capital Management products.Provides support in new product development and product rationalization projects, by gathering research and preparing reports on industry/competitor analysis, product positioning and other industry developments.Performs related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related fieldA minimum of 2 years' experience in product support, preferably in the asset management industry.Strong understanding of financial product structures, including mutual funds, CIT's and separate accountsDemonstrated ability to solve problems in an efficient and effective manner.Proficiency with all Office applicationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communications skills, including the ability to present ideas and plans to all levels within an organization, including the mutual funds board.Strong organizational skills in managing multiple initiatives and projects.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with asset management industry databases such as Evestment, Refinitiv Lipper, Dakota Marketplace and Morningstar Direct.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.What we offer you:
