Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Media Production Design Analyst. This position is part of the team that acts as the in-house marketing agency for the college. This position role conceptualizes and creates the college's visual design solutions for a large variety of projects across digital and offline media, ranging from graphic design and brand guidelines to advertising/marketing campaigns to event announcements and campus posters.

Essential Functions

Creative Design for Marketing: (40%)

Collaborate closely with the Director of PR and Marketing to develop and execute graphic design strategy, branding, digital advertising campaigns, collateral, PowerPoint presentations, logos, asset kits/style guides, video titles, and motion graphic elements; creates design extensions for campaigns as requestedSupport the daily development of original content including the design of brochures, logos, signs, magazine covers, annual reports, digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, and other communication materialsLead multiple projects and work independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, fun, innovative, and deadline-driven environmentHelp evolve internal and external marketing and communication through brainstorming, problem-solving, and new storytelling methodsPlan concepts by studying relevant information and materialsInternal Client Relations: (40%)

Manage multiple design projects from internal clientsProvide support with client events, and inter-departmental support as needed including social media and email marketing supportCommunicate with clients about layout and designProduce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback receivedReview final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specificationsCoordinate with External Vendors (10%)

Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessaryMaintain relationships with vendors (print, apparel, etc.)Photo Archival and Organization (10%)

Organize and archive photos on serverPerforms other duties as assigned commensurate with positionMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and two years of professional journey-level experience in developing, planning, and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.

OR

Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and four (4) years of professional experience in developing, planning, and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.

OR

High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of professional experience in developing, planning, and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.

Desired Qualifications

A. Four (4) or more years' experience as a graphic designer, preferably for a creative or in-house agency

B. Advanced knowledge/mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

C. Experience and understanding of marketing principles related to graphic design; four (4) or more years' experience developing and creating multimedia design concepts

D. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects

E. Video editing skills

Special Working Conditions

Will be required to view a computer monitor for an extended period of time
