Who qualifies for student employment?

Any student who maintains full time status is eligible for employment with Auxiliary Services. Full-time status means maintaining a minimum of 12 credit hours as an undergraduate or 9 hours as a graduate student.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create engaging videos and photos to showcase the college store's products and student engagement, aligning content with a structured social media calendar.Edit videos with attention to detail, including color correction and retouching of event photos, to maintain high-quality content standards.Develop and execute innovative promotional campaigns aimed at increasing the college store's visibility and enhancing student engagement on social media platforms.Craft interactive social media posts that effectively communicate the college store's mission, services, and events, fostering meaningful student interaction and feedback.Have two 30-minute meetings every week with the Marketing and Web Coordinator (supervisor) to track progress, align on content strategies, and ensure consistency across platforms.Stay current with trends on Instagram and TikTok to generate trending ideas and incorporate popular sounds and formats into social media content.Manage and maintain a social media calendar to schedule and organize content posts, ensuring timely and strategic delivery of promotional materials and event updates.Actively promote upcoming store events through creative social media strategies to boost attendance and student participation.Implement targeted strategies to elevate the college store's brand presence and awareness across diverse social media channels, leveraging analytics for continuous improvement.Requirements:

Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, creativity and ability to think outside the box.Minimum 2.8 GPA.Relevant major OR career interest.Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier, industry trends and techniques relevant to event photography and videography.Have their own computer and phone to use during the duration of internshipProfessional awareness

Compensation:

Pay: $15.00/hour

Meal Plan: For students without a meal plan, a Block 50 meal plan is provided. If on a meal, plan, adjustments may be made to accommodate needs.
