Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, shoot, and edit visual content, ensuring alignment with MCE’s brand guidelines and messaging.

Edit and retouch images and edit video footage to create visually appealing, storytelling material.Creative Input

Contribute creative ideas and concepts to enhance the visual storytelling and branding efforts of the marketing team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Advanced knowledge of photography and videography equipment (including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio).Understanding of camera settings, composition techniques, and lighting principles to capture high-quality visuals.Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in operating industry-standard software for photo and video editing, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Creative Vision

Ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with MCE’s identity and marketing objectives.Strong visual storytelling skills to effectively convey messages and evoke emotions through imagery and video content.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to meet deadlines and punctuality.Cultural sensitivity, as many projects involve communicating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.Required Qualifications:Pursuing or having completed a degree in photography, videography, film, visual arts, marketing, or a related field,

ORProven portfolio showcasing previous works in photography and videography, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and versatility in visual storytelling.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience with photography and videography is essential.Knowledge of visual storytelling and marketing strategies is an asset.Standard office environment (occasionally required to travel to relevant off-site locations, such as local schools to capture content).Noise level is quiet to moderate.Physical Activities:Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.Required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.Work Schedule:Flexible; however, punctuality in meeting agreed-upon deadlines is crucial.Compensation:Hourly pay for this position is $20/hour.Applicants must have Federal Work Study.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement & Notice of Background Check:The University of Denver is an equal opportunity employer.
