Advancement’s overall purpose is to establish and maintain favorable status with stakeholder groups ISU Extension and Outreach depends upon, including decision makers, faculty and staff, partners and the general public. The unit serves as advisors, managing ISU Extension and Outreach’s “voice” and reputation.This position will report to the creative manager.Responsibilities will include:+ Collaborating with the Advancement Team and ISU Extension and Outreach staff.+ Planning photography/video productions, coordinating production schedules with the staff needed for photography/video production, and coordinating the transportation of equipment for photography/video production.+ Capturing photographs, video, and audio of the production.+ Lighting the production.+ W orking closely with marketing strategist to implement the digital media production.+ Assisting video producer with productions as needed.The Media Production Specialist will edit photos using Adobe Lightroom, video content using Final Cut Pro X/Adobe Premiere, and utilize After Effects for animating content as required. The Media Production Specialist will also design digital media for social media channels using social apps and Adobe tools (Express, Illustrator, InDesign).Description of Job Duties:+ Planning, coordinating, lighting, capturing and editing of photography. Photography may include: Staged marketing photos, live events, and staff headshots.+ Planning, coordinating, lighting, capturing and editing of videography. Videography may include: Engaging social media videos, i nterview-based Impact Story videos, and e ducational/instructional videos.+ Digital media capture and design for social media channels which includes c apturing photos and videos and the d esign of social media content.+ Applying eAccessibility best practices to all online media .
