Sports and Entertainment Marketing Intern

We are looking for two creative and social/digital media savvy interns to assist primarily with game night social media, as well as the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the LV Phantoms and all concerts, events and restaurants in the PPL Center. The position demands a fun, positive and team oriented personality that promotes the vision of the Phantoms and PPL Center as being the epicenter for fun and entertainment in the Lehigh Valley.
REPORTS TO:
Sports & Entertainment Marketing Manager
DURATION : Full Season (October - April)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be available to work nights and weekends, to assist with Phantoms home & away game social media, and as needed for PPL Center eventsAssist with the creation of content for our social media, emails, website, and mobile app, tracking trends online and across other teams/venuesCollaborate with other departments to enhance the "FANDOM" associated with the Phantoms Hockey Team and assist in reaching revenue goalsCreate weekly analytics reports for all Phantoms and PPL Center social media accountsBe an advocate to grow the organization's presence in the communityJOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the programMust be available to work nights and weekendsStrong Digital and Social Media skillsStrong organizational, written & verbal communication skillsExhibit creative approaches generating awareness and promotionStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to function effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize a wide variety of tasksAbility to interact with a variety of different departments and senior management teamEnergetic, Inspirational PersonalityA collaborative Team PlayerOther duties as assignedPREFERRED SKILLS :
Sports and entertainment experience is preferredPhotography/videography experience is a plusHTML and/or graphic design knowledge preferredKnowledge of and appreciation of professional hockey
