Overview:

The Media Buying Manager is responsible for the placement, implementation and evaluation of the various advertising/media buying plans for the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena. The primary goal for the Media Buying Manager is to assist in the planning, execution and placement of advertising to create more efficient and effective campaigns to drive revenue, extend the brand and minimize expenses.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:Development of the annual advertising/media buying plan for the Nashville Predators hockey seasonDevelopment/support of the advertising/media buying plan for select Bridgestone Arena & F&M Bank Arena events including concerts, family shows, and non-hockey sporting eventsCollaborate with the Marketing Manager to coordinate all promotional plans to maximize ad spendOversee the trafficking of the tv spots, print ads, radio spots, billboards, etc. according to the above-mentioned plansUse research and analytics to create efficient and effective advertising/ media buying campaignsImplement new marketing technologies to continue effective communication with consumers and establish alternative means of obtaining updated buyer data.Manage all schedules, invoices, settlement information and execute paymentsDevelop, maintain and grow various relationships in the media marketAssist in the coordination of all deliverables such as tickets, meet & greets, etc. for above mentioned plansAssist in the overall media planning with other department events, programs and initiativesAssist in the negotiation, closing, implementation and evaluation of media and promotional dealsParticipate in strategic planning of general market sales activity and develop programs to maximize salesParticipate in the brainstorming sessions while providing leadership and guidanceOther duties and responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business ManagementMinimum of 2-3 years media buying or related experiencePrior sports, live events and/or venue experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office & Microsoft OutlookExperience in various media buying related softwareBasic knowledge of Google, Meta, and media buying related social channelsAbility to make sound business decisionsCreative and proactive problem solverStrong work ethicHealthy and positive attitudeESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented environmentsDetail oriented w/ excellent organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsMust be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and selected holidays
