Frier Levitt is a national boutique law firm with 50 attorneys, focused exclusively on Healthcare and Life Sciences.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, you will collaborate on strategies and tactics to attract new clients and enhance value for existing clients and prospects. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, with a proven track record in driving strategic growth initiatives.

This is a hybrid position, located in the firm's Pine Brook, New Jersey office.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with Director of Marketing and Business Development to develop and implement the firm's business development strategy.Support annual marketing and business development business plan development, focused on priorities set by firm leaders, including thought leadership platforms, communications, and client outreach.Track and analyze leads from marketing and business development initiatives to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI; continuously improve data mining, metrics and reporting of attorney and business development activities.Maintain a thorough understanding of practice areas and attorney specialties for enhanced communication and client development and retention.Conduct research and analysis and competitive intelligence-gathering.Manage and draft website content and optimize web copy and collaborate with outside agency to monitor SEO results and Google analytics.Manage and draft updates for industry and service lines capabilities sheets as well as draft marketing collateral and messaging for new service offerings.Assist in design, review and circulation of targeted thought leadership to clients.Conduct financial analysis of client revenue to guide strategy around obtaining new and maintaining existing client relationships.Identify and nominate attorneys, practice areas and the firm for awards and prepare submission for firm ranking surveys.Work with marketing team to manage social media calendar and channels, including LinkedIn.Manage and draft responses to pitches, RFPs and other client driven requests for information.Manage and support the marketing team's efforts for seminars, sponsorships, and other events as needed.Manage the collection and maintenance of CRM-based contacts and other data for marketing planning and for mailing lists.Skills/Experience/Education:

BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English strongly preferred.Minimum seven (7) years of experience in professional services business development and marketing, preferably in a law firm.Analytical and creative with strong management skills to develop and execute marketing strategies and provide insights into the status of business development plans.Intellectually curious, self-motivated, resourceful, and reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.Understanding of integrated marketing and BD strategies and how to measure and analyze results.Excellent project management, organizational and analytical skills.Ability to prioritize deadlines, stay poised under pressure, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively with team members.Excellent problem solver with strong attention to detail.Motivated team player with the ability to work independently.Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with email marketing and content management systems strongly preferred. Experience with HubSpot and WordPress strongly preferred.
