Flex: a position working between 20-29 hours per week (between 1000 - 1559 hours/year).The Inn On Biltmore Estate F&B Caf Attendants provide warm and gracious hospitality to guests of The Inn On Biltmore Estate who desire a "grab and go" food option.The incumbent is always attentive and committed to serving the guest in a timely, friendly manner; work in a cohesive group; to keep the area stocked, cleaned, and tidy in accordance with standards; and provide a world class experience for both internal and external guests. Staff will also offer general assistance and support to the team, department, and company as needed/required.**Essential Job Duties:**1. Serving food and beverages to Inn guests for 'on the go' food options.2. Keeping the area stocked, well maintained, neat and tidy.3. Keep product stocked and fresh at all times.4. Preparing breakfast pastries,muffins, bagels, fruit and other a la carte menu items.5. Fulfill guests espresso and other various drink orders quickly, efficiently and consistently and according to Biltmore standards.6. Responsible for learning Micros system.7. Have excellent cash handling skills.8. Keep work area cleaned and sanitized following Health Department guidelines.9. Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.10. Cleaning of all coffee and espresso machines and preparation areas; complete all side work/duties and/or opening/closing procedures.11. Maintain general knowledge of The Inn on Biltmore Estate, Village Hotel and Antler Hill Village, Biltmore events and products, and Asheville area information.**Qualifications:**1. Previous hospitality and/or guest service experience preferred.2. Must have a cheerful, caring, and considerate attitude and a genuine desire to deliver world class internal/external guest service; ability to engage and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner a must.3. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions.4. Must be adaptable to a fast paced environment and be a hard worker; can prioritize and multi-task work, and adapt as needed.5. Ability to quickly learn Biltmore products/services, systems, and procedures.6. Strong team player; anticipates, is proactive, and exercises good judgment.7. Must be at least 16 years old.**Physical Requirements:**1. Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.2. Have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.3. Will be working in an environment with possible fluctuations in temperature/conditions.**Additional Responsibilities:**1. Maintain complete product knowledge, including Biltmore wines/beverages.2. Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, service procedures, and standards, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.3. Provide general support and assistance to the department, leadership, and company as required.4. Ability to read and execute recipes and instructions.5. Adaptable to fast paced environment.6.
