About the RoleAs Monks continues to expand its Data & Digital Media capabilities, we are seeking a seasoned Director to enhance our services in marketing analytics. This role entails supporting both existing and new engagements with marketers by providing actionable insights derived from the integration of clients' business metrics, 1P and 2P data, as well as paid media data. The Director of Media Analytics will be instrumental in shaping the future of our market offerings through innovation in services, strategic team development, and by equipping our Growth and Account Management teams with essential tools for engagement with marketers.

This role is a combination of internally facing responsibilities - services development and operations - and externally facing responsibilities - working with partners, clients, and Monks Growth and Account Management teams across engagements.Responsibilities:

Owns media analytics product and services delivery across the client portfolioSets the vision for the account(s), oversees and develops analytics roadmaps and processes, and executes plans against short- and long-term deliverablesUnderstand business needs and lead the design and execution of cross-channel campaign measurement frameworksBe a hands-on contributor in evolving and designing new, innovative measurement tools, from inception to delivery, through to global rolloutWork alongside client teams to set up test designs and run analyses to support test outcomes that demonstrate business performance and opportunity to improveLead and drive a team with a highly autonomous self-starter cultureRecruit, manage, and mentor resources ensuring workflow is efficient throughout the team, as well as a high-quality output is deliveredAbout You

The essentials:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, management information systems, or a related quantitative field or or equivalent work experience such as, economics, engineering and physicsHands-on experience using SQL, Python, R, and Google Cloud (GCP) related productsHands-on experience working with common ETL toolsHands-on experience using Tableau, Datorama, and other common visualization toolsExpertise across programmatic display, video, native, and ad serving technology, as well as digital advertising reporting, measurement, and attribution toolsAdept to agile methodologies and well-versed in applying DataOps methods to the construction of pipelines and deliveryExperience in crafting meaningful narratives out of data and guiding team members to do the sameAbility to work across teams and seniority levels, influencing and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility and desire to scale knowledge and learning to junior (and at times senior) team membersStrong grasp of the overall ad tech space, including but not limited to knowledge of our competitive set and their offeringsAbility to communicate recommendations and reasoning up to senior stakeholders to create buy-inDemonstrated ability to lead in-person client meetings or client summitsDemonstrated ability to effectively operate both independently and in a team environmentAt Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
