Our team is responsible for balancing quality, creativity, and functionality while working to exceed client goals. Through design, management, detailing, and communication, the Mid-Level Designer/Project Architect will help our community create inspiring places for people to live, learn, work, and play.DiMella Shaffer could be right for you if:You can produce high-quality design, and deliverables in construction documents.You want to develop your skillsets and are open to feedback.You are excited to use your knowledge to mentor junior peers and staff.You are passionate about beautiful, high-performance environments for people.You have experience and are comfortable working independently with little supervision.You are curious and eager to learn!Requirements:Degree in Architecture7 – 10 years of post-graduate professional experienceProficiency in RevitProven experience in collaborating with consultants and leading internal project teams.Experience developing and coordinating technical systems and design details for projects, including responsibility for project documentation in drawings and specifications.Knowledge of codes as they pertain to project scope.Things we value, but are not required to apply:Architectural Registration or within two years of hire (we are happy to help you get there)Strong conceptual design and schematic design skillsKnowledge of zoning regulations and general permitting processProficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphics softwareLEED, WELL, or Passive House certification a plusExpertise in Sketch-Up/LumionThis is a hybrid role expected to be in the office 24 hours a week.DiMella Shaffer is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE) employer.
